Some CD / DVD / Blu-ray burning software are considered bloatware because they contain too many unnecessary features so that their file size becomes very large and slow when running. AnyBurn is not included among these software. Almost all of its features are only concentrated on making ISO files and burning.
AnyBurn is only for Windows. In addition to Windows 10, AnyBurn can also be run on older versions of Windows, such as Windows XP and 2000. The hardware specifications required are also very lightweight. AnyBurn only requires 64 MB of memory. Computers that still use Intel Pentium 166MHz are also able to run AnyBurn.
Features and Highlights
If you only look at the size of the file, maybe some of you will doubt the ability of Any-Burn. But you don’t need to worry because AnyBurn’s popularity is on par with other popular burning software such as DeepBurner and BurnAware. Its features are also more or less the same. Only the way the features are presented is somewhat different.
Talking about the interface, AnyBurn has similarities with BurnAware. All core features are displayed directly in front. What distinguishes the two is the use of icons and the ar-rangement of features. In AnyBurn, there are only a series of buttons that are arranged as is. While the core features in BurnAware are grouped and each is given an icon to make it easier to identify.
Although slightly different, both are easy to use. The ease factor is the most important be-cause the purpose of the interface is to make it easier for users to interact with the soft-ware. No matter how good an interface is, that interface will have no meaning if the user feels confused.
There are 13 choices available on the AnyBurn interface. You can burn ISO or audio CD, make ISO, open ISO to review the files in it, extract files from within ISO, delete the con-tents of DVD pieces, continue multi-session, edit image files, and convert image files to ISO, CUE , BIN, and DAA. Interestingly, the feature to copy files from one disc to another is only available in BurnAware Pro and Premium editions, you can use them for free in AnyBurn.
AnyBurn is also able to make bootable USB drives for Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 and Win-dows 10. Unlike other features, this feature can only be used if you are running AnyBurn as an admin.
These additional features do not make AnyBurn bloatware because its file size remains very small. AnyBurn is also as light as BurnAware. Small, simple, not slow when loading, supports multi-session, all these advantages are enough to make anyone tempted to try it. Who knows, maybe AnyBurn is the burning software that best meets your needs.
